A professional drummer/percussionist, Roger Luxton moved to Cornwall from London after ten years of hard graft as a session musician.

Still very much a gigging musician (currently playing with the  Rairbirds, the new project of Rootjoose members Jamie Crowe and Rob Elton), Roger also specialises in music and rhythm workshops for early years, working on personal, social and emotional development, communication, language and literacy, problem solving, reasoning and numeracy, knowledge and understanding of the world, physical and creative development.

 He also works regularly with CYMAZ (Cornwall Youth Music Action Zone), KEAP (Kernow Education and Arts Partnership)  and Creative Partnerships, and alongside Amanda has worked extensively at the Eden Project providing musical input on their Jungle seasons.

All BoumBoum workshop leaders carry current CRB clearance and public liability insurance.
